Feel blades of green tickling at my neck
As I lay out on my back, looking up above
I wish you could be here with me
Under the star spangled sky.
I don’t know who you are,
Where you’re from or what you do,
One thing I know, I want to be with you
Gazing into the star spangled sky.
Warm dusk air drifts over me
My mind posing intricate ideas
For me to ponder as I lay

aah finally. i thought up that one line last nite as i was looking out the window @ 2 in the morning.. thinking about america for some reason so i came up with star spangled sky
 then i spent the next day (inbetween revision) trying to work it into a poem. now i have  |
